Hello, everyone! My name is Myke and I'm the lead writer and art director over at Team www.bwdyeti.com (as you can see we're still working on a studio name). We have a few small, non-commercial projects under our belt but we're mostly known for our fangame Immortal Sword.

BwdYeti (the lead developer and captain of our little troupe) and I came up with the idea for BOSS FIGHTER about a year ago, but never got beyond the initial concept phase. When we heard about the 2014 Indie Game Maker Contest, we agreed that BOSS FIGHTER was an appropriate choice for the 30-day challenge and began work immediately.

What we submitted was quite different to our original design, as you can see from the concept images I have posted - BOSS FIGHTER as it exists is a tight, focused, but ultimately very small project. There is only one playable character, instead of the six we had planned, and only three of the eleven bosses/stages were included. We hope to one day expand it to its full potential, but realistically, we can't sacrifice any more time in the near future - that is, unless we can win the support promised by the contest prize.

So if you like the game (find it here) and want to see more, vote for us and spread the word!
