I'm kinda new to this and I really want to know where I can find the maps to download for Garry's mod ;w; please tell me if ya can

could someone tell me how garrys mod works, can you just spawn in anything like guns and people, and go on here to play the maps?
You can install mods and awesome guns, maps and NPC's. Garry's mod got Horror, Puzzels and sandbox maps and more. You can get mods and stuff from steam workshop, that someone else have made. You can build stuff, you can do a lot things in Garry's mod.
