Description
The most universally hated faction in the Zone, the Monolith started with a group of very inspired stalkers who were very fascinated with the Zone. Fascination eventually turned in to obsession, which in turn devolved into fanatism, and the Monolith adopted the belief that there is a giant artifact in the centre of the Zone, called the "Monolith" and charged for the centre of the Zone, and have been guarding the area from incoming stalkers ever since.
This is like the only patch you can't buy on ebay.
