We don't get legitimate border guards here in the US. Ours are under armed and bound by so much red tape that they can't do anything to stop trespassers.
If we actually had the military doing it like they're supposed too we'd get called "racist gringos".
So now any criminal with working legs can walk in and out of our country as they please. And we wonder why it was so easy for the terrorist to attack us... *sigh* >:/
