2K Games and Gearbox Software announced today that the long-gestating,
the say the absolute least, Duke Nukem Forever will be hitting store shelves
on May 3, 2011 in North America and on May 6, 2011 internationally.
To celebrate this announcement the companies have released two new
screenshots and a debut trailer that clocks in at a fantastic two and a
half minutes.
The big question remains that can nostalgia, hopes and dreams all be
accounted for in this much-anticipated game? Regardless of if it should
be regarded as the same title everyone has been waiting on for over a
decade, it most definitely will. Hopes and dreams are big shoes to fill.
Randy Pitchford has also announced that the next layer of the game will be peeled back sometime Late January to Early February.
Why haven't they made the game in 3D? It took so long, they could easily do that as well...
Trailer old already seen it 2 times, good trailer though :)
But they shouldn't have gone after the women...
(buried)
This is going to suck, it looks like they are just trying to sell the nude women so people will buy it, I want to see all the stuff from the unfinished 3D Realms version in this. I know the same guy is voicing Duke but he just doesn't sound the same, and he wasn't one lining the whole trailer he was giving a monologue about how he actually cared about earth... He doesn't seem like a bad *** anymore.
First of all, it's not a Duke Nukem game if there are no tits in it...
i wonder how hard it was to change the developers.
edit: this took "forever".
I believe that first whenn I see the game in the bords of my softwaredealer. :D
But nice trailer! Catches up the feelings of the old game.
