Since last update: Games no ready, can't be verified Thread - Desura

All my installed games are "Not Ready" since the last update. If I press install it tries to verify the game files but never finishes. Cancelling the verify process, crashes desura. If i try to set he version, it says "Gathering Information" forever. Cancelling will crash desura. I just realized, that there is NO version selected. Maybe that's why the games are "Not Ready"?

Archlinux 64.

Latest update reset the installed games (See here: Moddb.com ) but ill look into the other issues

can you fix it please? i'd like to be able to use desura again.

The same happens to my with some games (Hammerfight, Osmos, VVVVV, Steel Storm and World Of Goo).
I'm running Slackware 13.37 x86_64, but if i install the 32 bits version of the games the problem is solve. If i choose to use the 64 bits version the problem start again.

The issue of the games not staying installed should be fixed now. Looking into the freeze

Has your Desura updated correctly? What build version are you running? I only ask because I thought that these issues were resolved in the last 1 or 2 builds.

Desura seems to update correctly.

It still hangs at "Gathering information ..." and if i press cancel desura crashes.

Hmm, I can't tell the build version from that log info. Can you go to the main menu (blue button in top left of main client window) and select about? That should have a number like 120.16 or 120.17, etc.

I had the same problem. Delete contents of common folder. You will need to install the game from the beginning but now everything should work:)
