After looking into it, I may have my SSD in a SATA-300 port, not the faster SATA-600 ports...

I'll play around with it and see if I can get some performance back...

Read is what counts, as the vast majority of operations on a drive are reads...

My computer is still crazy fast, even with these odd results, I have tried everything to fix this to no avail, I think it must be my drive, I get these write speeds in my old SATA2 computer too...

So it's not my new computer causing the problem, but I don't care, the computer couldn't go any faster for my liking :)

My bottleneck is my mechanical drive that benches 90mb/s both ways...

Ok, I have no idea what's going on here, my write speeds are shockingly slow for the drive, but it doesn't matter, the computer still boots in the blink of an eye and runs flawlessly ;)
