--Cool video, but it's so pixelated and low-res. I also noticed that the pictures at the end of the video are from Reborn mod (nice).--

The video cutscenes are from a game made by Simon & Schuster & Rival Interactive called "Real War" and its Sequel "Rogue States" released in 2002 (prior to EA's C&C Generals) that was an attempt to emulate C&C style gameplay with a realistic present day military and storyline. I believe this is why EA changed the Original C&C Generals to counter this game (in which they proved to have succeeded) because that game was proven to be inferior with graphics, story, and gameplay mechanics.

See the GameSpot Review on "Real War: Rogue States": Gamespot.com You may recognize some themes that later appeared in C&C Generals from the screenshots.

My edit time expired but another review that makes a direct remark to what I was talking about in my first post: Gamespot.com

"Real War is a throwback to the days of those horrible real-time strategy clones that followed the success of Westwood's Command & Conquer series."

I LOL'd at that remark. :)
