I've only got beef with the 360, not all consoles. The whole "NO, DON'T BRING BF3 TO CONSOLES CRAP" was from TheLionDude.

I've had my box for 3 years and never got the red ring of death. Just happens to hose unlucky I suppose.
My Optical drive crapped out before I got any RRoD. My replacement lasted even longer until my hard drive got the hell torn out of it. Still no RRoD. But I swear, the next generation of consoles better use SSDs.

And for anyone who thinks they're console is better than the others or better than the PC are morons for joining the console war.
The reason why PC is better is
1.PS3 is half PC
2.Microsoft is in association with PC
3.Consoles were designed on PC
4.PC can handle AI way better why do you think ARMA II isn't on console?
5.PC is multi-purpose use (Internet,Games,Programming,ETC)
6.Console games are made and programmed on PC
So there now can the console war end?
A) You're not helping with the console warring.
B) Sony already announced intentions to continue releasing Playstations.
C) Some people prefer to not bother with PC specs and whatnot, which is perfectly fine.
D) Console games are rarely made on PC anymore. The majority of console game production comes from console development kits.
Ummm did I say anything about consoles being better than PC? I said better than current consoles as in PS3 and Xbox 360. I didnt say anything about the new console that Sony plans to make to be better than PC -_-

Why do you think people buy ps3's or other consoles?
because some people don't want to spend 2000 euros to play minecraft or WOW.
I've bought mine PS3 this winter coz it has some awesome exclusives that would never get neither to PC or Xbox (which is commonly hacked in my city).
