other then the habitable zone all the other points the guy makes are terrible. I thought the majority of the modern world knew about the water on mars and other objects in space. Comets are completely water so how did this guy not know that? and orbits are elliptical, but even with the elliptical orbit we still don't leave the habitable zone:D as for his point about the grand canyon, im quite sure he was implying that it could happen quickly, and wasn't focused on mentally calculating how fast it would take. now that being said there are BETTER creationist theories as to how the grand canyon happened.

Majority of that part of world which is considered as modern is just a stupid mass. And I afraid, any other theory than slow forming by river would be on 99% wrong. It's not just USA, it's not just Grand Canyon. Every river takes soil/sand downstream creating something similar, but in smaller scale - not everywhere there is just sandstone not reinforced with grass roots etc..

Now I have quite a problem with the million of years grand canyon theory, that is if the world is millions of years and rivers make canyons shouldn't there be more canyons similar to Grand Canyon? Even grass cannot last for millions of years supporting dirt from erosion.
Colorado is apparently one of pretty old rivers. Other big rivers didn't have such conditions. If you look at Grand Canyon, you can see there is just sandstone. There is no harder rock and nearly no vegetation to prevent the river forming it. There actually are things that were created the same way, but as I said, in smaller scale.
