This is what most atheists have to face from their god loving parents, or worse.
And I thought Christmas are about family having time together... silly me...
As a deeply spiritual and religious individual, I cringe when I see parents handling disagreement from their children in such a manner. Ideology should never be forced on people, whether it be Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Republican, Militarist, Pacifist, Socialist, or any belief system this world has known.
Yes, I totally agree. I do not see the problem in disagreeing with one's parents on one matter or the other. As long as both sides of the discussion/argument stay calm and discuss the matter with respect to the other's beliefs, everything should be fine. :)
