They don't have hell in cyclic time religions like Buddhism and Hinduism.
Did you know that many fundamentalist Christians' perception of hell isn't actually what the Bible says awaits unbelievers? According to the Bible, it's only reserved for the worst of the worst of the worst....of the worst.
There's always many different depictions in the Bible of what happens. In some passages, especially in the OT, you just die and I assume 'cease to exist'.
The fundamentalists use stuff in Revelation to explain the hell concept but not surprisingly, where I live almost everyone believes in an eternal hell that is religious. I think it is a very common yet overlooked belief in the US.
