its seems to be quite common, they think they can be as annoying and arrogant as possible and can get away with it because its there "right" to be an arrogant douche and try and force there beliefs on people who dont care.

Have you guessed why yet? All Elf came here to do was correct this image and explain what the verse meant and you and all the others have dismissed him with insults. This is why I stopped bothering to be polite to atheists years ago. There's simply no point.
Saint Paul said women should wear coverings when praying or preaching and if you read the whole chapter (Elf provided the link) you'll see how he's being metaphorical.
