Continetal plates movement. We know how fast those are moving per year, why they move at all and which way they took over the millions of years. And dont forget the Bering Strait. So there are 2 ways already how animals got there.

it really makes me wonder why any women would stay in a faith that hates them so much.
Christianity dont hate women, its oppresses them. Or lets just say they are against emancipation.
They believe they are a part of some social rebellion against feminism. Don't try to reason with fundamentalist women, it's worse than with men.
They stay in it because they are being abused and don't know it. This like brainwashing a child to believe they deserve the beatings they get. Women were oppressed yet even SUPPORTED being oppressed because they thought it was 'womanly'.
I would call it collective stockholm syndrome.
