If your government would be in that situation they also would strike back.

Jenci, I recommend to look at some pictures from Kyjev demonstrations. You may notice Bandera flags. That was a nice guy from WW2 era...
There is never 'good boys' and 'bad boys'. I usually call them the bad and the worse. I would say that normal Ukrainians are now paying too much for replacing incompetent leader with too much active ones.

Pilots are soldiers, under commands from their higher officers. They are not responsible for this, leaders are. Flying over ares where your colleagues were shot down requires some balls...
Let me tell you what the story is. You think that Ukrainian government are nazis and their leader is Hitler? No, that's totally wrong, because they are true 1920s communists and their leader is a bad copy of Stalin. Srsly, they have all the attributes of WW2 soviet union and Germany combined:
-Burning people in Odessa alive like nazis did? Done!
-Bombing cities and killing more women and children than enemy soldiers? Done!
-Arresting someone just because some people said that he is a pro-Russian separatist just like Soviet NKVD? Done!
-Some balls? Hell no! You have to go fight, because in case if you don't do you will be called an enemy of the motherland and probably killed (Just like in good ol' USSR)
-Nazis? No, there are no nazis!

-Also they lost a lot of vehicles to separatists and now separatists have everything that Ukraine does excluding aviation. I don't know if Ukrainian army actually doesn't have any more vehicles, but its soldiers are driving...Technicals...Yes, civilian pickups with HMGs and Ork-style BIGGAH SHOOTA GUNTRUCKZ in a regular army...Even Middle Eastern countries don't use that.
So...It was a short story about everything. And If you think that Russia tries to rebuild USSR, then no, Ukraine is the true successor or the Soviet Union in the best traditions of Uncle Stalin.

They and their so called national guard units have been well documented killing any and all people who don't fall in line with their agenda ... for ***** sake the bastards were caught on camera multiple times chanting "Ukraine Iben ales" while indiscriminately gunning down "unarmed" civilians ... It does not take a genius to figure that out with all the available evidence.
