That and im assuming this is from Soul Eater and this "character" never had their gender defined in the anime. In the Manga tho im pretty sure Chrona was mentioned to be a girl least I think that's her name correct me if im wrong or if I just butchered it :P Its been a long time since I read the manga ...
I never read the Manga but I think I remember them mentioning a few times in the anime that Crona is a boy, that and a lot of his speech gives away that he's also a boy.
Edit: A quote, "A...Girl!? I don't know how to deal with girls, they make me nervous!"-Crona. Or, something like that.
