I'm such a pleb. I've never played a Megaman game in my life. But then again, I grew up with a Genesis and a PS1 and PS2. The only Nintendo console I had was a Gamecube.
Now I'm confused. I only had Sega until the Gamecube, but I certainly recall playing Megaman.
Ahh, the good old times when we were MUCH more skilled at 16-bit games than we are now. When I picked up a Genesis emulator on the PC I could barely beat Green Hill in Sonic the Hedgehog, how did my young self beat these games so effortlessly back then?
There's one game I distinctively recall me being unable to beat back then though:
The Revenge of Shinobi.
And the Megaman games ofc, but I wasn't going for full completion with these, I only did the levels I knew weren't going to obliterate me xP
Yeah but I never saw copies for them at the Blockbuster I'd get games at. (That was back when that was pretty much the only place to get games... Or at least where I was. Now there's a Gamestop on every corner in every major city.)

Hehe, when I had a ps1 my cousin who was older than me quite a lot was probably burning copys from internet or something.
I learned how to do it when I got ps2 for my birthday.
Of the 32bit/PS1 "trilogy". This one was alright, only problem with x5 is the backtracking.
Still preferred X4 though, simple game, can be beatin' in one sitting.
