This gundam wing looks awesome
No offense against the artwork.
But ive always wondered about the visual practicality of mecha
I mean, they seem to like adding spikes or wings or other decorative stuff on mecha which really makes it look like a mixture between magical, humanlike, and mechanical
Why is it that purely mechanical looking mecha are not popular?
And for this reason I've always had an uncomfortable view of mecha. Occasionally you will kinda see the mass produced quality im looking for in mecha, but it still doesn't sit right with me for some reason. As if im looking for something more basic looking, but just as effective.

THe show your looking for is Armored Trooper VOTOMS. No wings or spikes, just tanks with legs.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I thought about it the other day, and I think I'm looking for some kind of hybrid between american mechs such as those seen in the mechwarrior series, and the stylized mechs you see in japanese manga and anime.

It's all in aesthetic taste, I mean if I had the choice of using this Wing Gundam or the original/zero version I'd probably go with the latter, but this one does look nice.
well if you look at AC:FA you can see they aint just aesthetic..
