I've searched for Touhou and found an anime by the same name and another CG artist by the same name, but since i didn't recognize the wallpaper with the anime i found, i decided not to say anything, in case i would be naming it wrong.

You do know that Touhou is not an anime?
There are mangas named touhou (i meant those... not anime -_-).
And no, i'm not bound with Scarlet (yet), my world has been really closed..... thanks to the lack of preatty much everything not comming to my country, and myself not having enough free time to see everything.
Touhou is a vertical shooting game, strangely it have a huge fanbase. because of this, the fans made a lot of doujin anime and manga based from it (and with MUCH better artwork from the original :P).
but the creator himself also have published two manga series, each drawn by different artists.
Moreso even. There are also music cd albums, fighting games, photography games and a load of doujin games. And fanmade music, god the MUSIC! There's a reason why people tend to give ZUN the honourary title "Kannushi". And having a big fanbase is not strange at all, it mainly shows that people are annoyed about all the limiters in western works, you know, copyright and all that. ZUN's games are indie and doujin, and around 90% of all Touhou related things are fanmade.
