ok, the next Beck pic i upload has to be Maho in bikini. i think that's the only way to make folks interested in this series.
if that fails, i will officially give up on recommending it.

I somehow support that notion. that will show that this serial is for real men. :P

Description

Koyuki was never much into music, besides a certain j-pop idol.
But this changed after meeting Ryusuke who spent most of his life in US. Ryusuke played there in a band together with Eddy, who later formed a worldwide known band Dying Breed.

After borrowing Dying Breed albums, Koyuki started to get more interested in rock and associated genres.
Seeing his enthusiasm, Ryusuke soon borrows him an old acoustic guitar and encourages Koyuki to learn how to play it.

BECK is an one of the kind manga (and anime), telling a story of a newely formed japanese band.
a must read for every musician or a rock/metal fan.

Anime is also pretty good (in fact i'm rewatching it right now) but it's really toned down compared to manga. (sexual jokes and references cut out, drug references cut out, less alcoholism, protagonist acts more like a pussy etc)
