Well it's over now. Or at least until January.

My opinion. I liked it but it had a few flaws. It starts off REALLY cliche. A bunch of high school friends training to be mech pilots blah blah blah if you've ever watched a mecha anime then you've seen that before. But it gets better pretty quickly.

I also feel that the Martian villains were pretty generic in their design. Despite them constantly saying otherwise they're actually just racist Human space colonists in fancy 1700's era clothes and not an advanced race like they try to claim. Basically the Principality of Zeon or Space Britannia. Which was kind of a letdown because the series description was a little vague and I was hoping for actual aliens. Ah well.

Another thing is the main character. He's really cold and calculating and pretty much emotionless. For some people that's a negative but honestly I liked it. Main characters in these things tend to be really angsty, whiny and dramatic. And he's pretty much the exact opposite of that.
