Also, bas'lan shev'la (strategic disapearence), a Mandalorian specialty, means that not even the Mandos knew how many Mandalorians existed.

Description

In the Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back novelization, the Mandalorians are referred to as "a group of evil warriors defeated by the Jedi Knights during the Clone Wars." This discrepancy was later retconned with the explanation that, although many Mandalorians were killed, they were not completely destroyed, nor did the massacre occur during the Clone Wars, but rather, a decade previously.

Why is this not outrageous? They changed the Mandalorians original History
