Yes they have different armor, but blue fashion is awful.
Moreover, the planet Mandalor of Traviss with jungle and no cubic cities with a Duchess is better.

The jungle is still there. They have retconned that and said that is a different portion of the planet. Much like the Earth has different climates.

I know, but i can't bear the Duchess. And the idea of a majority of pop to be pacifist, that's weird for a warrior planet.

Not really. It's natural that there'd be splinter factions.

I just must and I mean must add Z's rant about the mandolarians to the image because his point on them is very well explained.

Karen Traviss has stated she wont write anymore books due to the changes in canon with the show. She is that upset. Personally, I say boo-hoo. GL told these authors years ago that the events- times that would encompass the prequels is his time. He would be adding in things, etc. They were warned.First off, those of who read Tales of the Bounty Hunters know that they ruined that when Episode 2 came out as you find out Boba Fett is a clone of Jango Fett. The name Mandalore and the Mandalorians is EU material that GL has made now permanent canon. People should be happy! He did it his way though. He did the same with the 501st. The 501st was the name of a fan group of guys who dress in Stormtrooper armor. Been around since the 1980s. They do a ton of charity work, with children's hospitals etc. As a thank you, GL made them a part of canon. So, quit your bitching. We all suck from the teat of GL's glorious creation and we should be thankful he lets us do this. Create new works for his creation. Could be worse! Look at the restrictions placed on fans from Halo. You cant create anything new. Rant over :)

Karen Travis didn't just quit because of the Dumb-*** Wars cartoon. They disagreed over wages, too. That's my contribution.

Description

Copied from a post I did on my mod page in response to a fan who felt the death watch armor is not canon. I figured I should post it here too for all of you to consider.
The closest images of death watch are from the mandolarian civil war 10 years before the clone wars, in which the true mandolarians wore this armor and the death watch, a splinter group opposed to the governments new ideals, wore another style. So consider this please. The true mandolarian government defeated the death watch, although there leader and all of there true mando warriors were killed besides Jango Fett. The death watch have all been killed. In an effort to forget about that bloody conflict and the death watch the also made sure to destroy any remaining death watch armor as that is yet another reminder of the great loss of so many mandalorians in the civil war including Jaster Mereel who was the Mand'alor before and during the civil war and lead the true Mandalorian faction.
Now years later as the pacifist like the duchess manage to come to power on the promise of a long peaceful existence as many mandolarians might feel after seeing so many of there friends and families and all of there warriors killed during that bloody civil war and this small secret movement of existing death watch are quietly recruiting, regrouping and rearming themselves as they wait for the opportunity to retake there home world what armor are they gonna find plenty of on there home world?
True Mandolarian armor because that was the standard armor of the government and the Mand'alor leader before and after the civil war.
