Why are there Swastika like symbols on a American plane?:D must be symbolizing pre-nazi use. Really nice drawing btw, really detailed.
American?????? Thats a Messerschmitt Bf 109!!
I think he means the three swastikas on the bomber's nose. I'm pretty sure each one symbolizes an air-kill although that's a tradition for fighter planes.
front gunner accomplishments? or ground targets? but they couldn't see exactly what they managed to hit with bombs
maybe number of missions they survived??
3 missions? that's not much...
uhm, it's the airkills, some Flying fortresses gained enough to call them "fighter aces" lol.
the most famous would be "Old 666"
