Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Just awesome! This game breaks the boring side of a beat'em'all, and was able to create an intelligent addictive side.

What makes this game unique is that it's not like the other beat'em'alls where you have to spend your day killing monsters, it becomes boring and annoying... Au contraire, always in the concept of beat'em'all, the developers have thought to include a management side in the gameplay, where you can customize your character (paintings, faces, accessories...), improve him (adding stats point after leveling up, combining gems...), and equip him with a lot and various weapons and equipements. They also thought to vary the game modes, with creating Deathmatch maps, PvP, dungeons, and many other special maps (where some surprises are waiting for you, hehe). Not to mention the large number of achievements to unlock which make the game even more attractive and addictive. Finally, a huge leaderboard was included to generate a competitive field.

Anyway, first and excellent debut game from Twin Drills, let's support them and hope they will do better in the future!
