YSWMI Update 1

Ever since we finished the final build of YSWMI, we’ve been working on an update to address some of the shortcomings as well as get new content out to you guys in order to keep your hatred for us nice and fresh. Some of those changes, in fact, made their way into the demo, although they’re inaccessible (as it IS a demo, and they’re not finished yet anyways). Some stuff you should watch out for:

  • Linux port (unless we run into some kind of massive hurdle porting the game).
  • The 18 classic levels from You Probably Won’t Make It should be making their way to You Still Won’t Make It.
  • Some other minor fixes to improve the game experience, like better gamepad support.
  • Mac App Store release.

There’s an update checker on the game itself, in the options menu. You can also follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, or subscribe to our newsletter, where you’ll get the latest news about new YSWMI versions and other Vetra Games news, all nice and warm straight from our newsoven. :)On a longer timescale, we want to make a level editor for YSWMI (a good one, too) as well as complete World 4, 5, and 6. Hopefully these things should keep you entertained for a while. And, finally, for those of you who haven’t bought YSWMI, don’t forget to go buy it now, it’s really fun! :D
