The story unfolds in Marinha Grande on January 18, 1934. A young girl ventures out of her home to pursue a peculiar crowd heading towards the city centre. Her mission is to retrieve the scattered papers that one of the men in the crowd accidentally let slip. These papers hold the key to unravelling the narrative behind the cultural, industrial, or uprising event in Marinha Grande. While in the square, she must evade the military presence to avoid being captured.

Hello everyone!

This week we didn't have any major developments in our project, and time is starting to get tight with the other CU (curricular units) of our course, but we hope not to disappoint.

Our artist, Ana Pires, has finished the first sketches of our game's environments and we are looking forward to showing you and getting your opinions.

But before seeing the images we must mention some key points of these environments, these are streets, squares and spaces in general inspired by the city of Marinha Grande located in Leiria, Portugal in the 1930s, despite these being 2D and greyscale sketches, as already You must know that we want a more old-fashioned style in our game and we hope to represent these environments with structures that are a little more "careless", with the most accessible materials of the time and without the finishes that we know in today's buildings such as paint, we want in a certain way create a more abrupt and realistic environment for the reality of the time.

Referencing this, I leave the sketches below for you to see.

We'll be back next week,

with love;
