What does this have to do with Left 4 Quake?

The case has nothing to do with left 4 quake, it was purchased by me. The relevance lies within it. This case is what will house the server. I believe that it is relevant to provide the fans with regular updates of our progress, do you not?

That's my fault, I was under the impression that the news had already been accepted.

******* TWATS!
Getting people to donate to buy yourselves computers, you are the scum of the quake community. any ******* pc could run a quake server. and its not like anyone's gonna play this piece of **** game anyway.

Give the fans their money back.

They're not buying the computer for themselves. This is for anyone who wants to play the game not as a single player game but a multiplayer game as well... If they used their own computer, then they would have to keep it on 24/7. If the game is such a pos, then why are you here? I hope you were being sarcastic about that because your name is vaguely familiar.

what the **** has this got to do with my name?

And they've bought a gaming computer, not a server. like i said, pretty much any computer now days can run a 24/7 quake server, theyve taken money from fans to suit themselves

I agree with Sammich. I hate the idea of Buying a computer to Host servers. You guys got nothing to host x_x

I ran a Quake server easily with My old laptop which had 328 mb of ram and 700 mhz cpu.

Yeah but how many people actually played on it? Once this game is live tons of people will be playing online, I'm sure. It's better to have too much power than not enough, and I for one don't want to have to deal with lag.

Description

This is the case that I have purchased for the L4Q server.

I was looking at this case online, was around $90 with shipping and all. A few days after, while working at a place called Free Geek, (a computer recycling organization) a man came in and donated that very case!
Obviously the chances of that are so small that it blew my mind. I rushed home while my friend pretended to look at it so no one else would take it, got money, and voila, it was mine!

After fan installation.
