While the addition of heavy customization options is a huge improvement, I miss the features of the sims 2, like owning a business, having distinct downtown, shopping, etc districts. Apartment blocks that house multiple playable families. Pets. everything
EA Does the same thing every time they make a sims game, they leech as much money as possible by breaking off so many fundemental parts needed in a life simulator into expansion packs, for example. the Late Night expansion adds the nightlife and downtown parts, world adventures is just a remake of bon voyage, pets is well.. pets.
I play TS3 more than TS2 nowadays, on my laptop, but I wish TS3 had all the different things that 2 had,
Still a fun game.
Customization have big, but multiple playable families make a big lag. I hate to see that games like Watch Dogs, NFS: Rivals, Arma III work for my pc fine with mid-high textures, but SIMS3 ..... I can't play them with even lowest textures ... so it makes sense that my pc is fine, but what about game .... i hope Sims 4 will make improvment on this...
(First of all, forgive my English! I try my best, but failing sometimes is pretty much unavoidable...)
Sweet game, but I have to agree with Kastrenzo, I do miss a lot of features from TS2 too. In the other hand, I'm really addicted to personalized content, and about that I found out that is much easier to deal with them in TS3, with less possibility of getting a crash.
As always, you can't really trust the minimum requirements for the game, and expansions like Pets may give you a bigger headache than you expect (even compared to some later expansions).
Other than that, I really enjoy and have my good laughs while playing, which keeps me connected to it :)!
