The Purpose is a first person puzzle game with time rewind mechanics. The levels of the game have a surrealistic art style and unique, mind twisting puzzles.
We just started developing the game and for now we can't upload a demo or trailer, but they will be available soon.
Main features of the game are :

A teaser story:
In the year 2013 inside a small village of Russia, Nikmetop lives a 18 years old teenager named Ivan Mikhailov who lives a pretty normal life, he wakes up for school, does his homework after, has blackouts from time to time and he has his brain checked every month because if he won't do that he will become a stupid person, that's what his doctor told him when he was just 6 years old. Ivan is living a pretty normal life like every teenager in their life. Ivan worries about his blackouts but doctor set at rest Ivan, he told him it's nothing to worry about; everyone had blackouts in their life.
Eventually, Ivan was to find out that those blackouts were something to worry about. Doesn't anyone wonder what happens when someone is in a coma? Following Ivan's mind, you can see an instance of infinite possibilities, an adventure of logic and irrationality.

So will the time rewind be like in Braid where you simply have to press a button or will the time rewind be a bit more costly to what you have? i.e have to pick up "potions" to use.
well , the time rewind mechanic will be .. how to say it .. a bit different of what you may have used to.
The character will have a watch, on which you can set the time and date and "jump" there, so it's a time control mechanic actually.
We are just thinking that we may include both mechanics, time rewind and time control :)
