The (*) Open World is a top down 2d game I am making for a personal 72-ish hours Gamejam I've dubbed "GunJam" because the theme is guns (more about it on my blog nemirc.wordpress.com). I am making the game using GameMaker Studio (my first GameMaker game, yay!), and it was inspired by the news of the 3d-printed "wiki-weapon" and what would happen if EVERYONE had a home-made gun. I have nothing to show yet, but I will be adding screenshots o show all my progress! The goal in "The (*) Open World" is very simple: survive the day.

Ok, I have added (almost) all of the rooms. I can navigate from one room to the next with no problem, but for the life I can't figure out how to make the player spawn in a different spot depending on the previous room (for example, if you go to the "coffee shop" and then exit, I can't make it appear in the city, in front of the coffee shop, it always appears on the start position).
Anyway, this is where the real fun begins... I think... specially because I'm still figuring out many things in gamemaker
