The Ancients is a game set on Earth. In 200BC. The Roman Republic is slowly taking the mediterranean by storm, the second of the punic wars has just ended, yet the war against Macedon has just begun - and this is just in Italy. Travel and explore the land and peoples, from the Lusitanians of the Iberian Peninsula to the ancient Ainu of Japan.
These are some basic housings that will be available for the architectural entrepreneur!
Hut 1; Basically made of leaves and branches.
Hut 2; Made of leaves, branches and mud.
Hut 3; Made of leaves, branches, mud, stone and wood.
There are two different windows available, one for when a light is lit within, and one without. Also a simple door.
The current outline is some basic stone housing I am working on.
I know it doesn't look brilliant - I'm currently having colour issues with my computer where they're displayed wrong all over the place - so I'm witholding from spending too much time shading till I know that I'd be shading it properly.
I like I like. Got a nice Age of Empires 1 tool age hut going on there. I especially like that burial mound looking one. Looks perfect for my potential hermit-style character (if he hasn't found an unoccupied cave somewhere)
