Hngh! *Deletes*

IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ROMAN D;.

I wanted a flat-top concrete building for a version of a building. I want a white-brick and wooden/timber one next...

It might need some red tiling or something on top of it to try and make it less 'desert' styled. Have you thought about the idea of 'multistorey' buildings as that is quite the urban thing.

Yeah, I plan to make it expandable upwards, too. :D Should turn out quite nicely.

The problem with using a tiled roofing means I'd have to box-off the corners to make the build square, for second-story purposes. Otherwise, when a second-story section is introduced to a building, you're going to have a blank corner at the turn of the base of a wall.

I might however be able to introduce a small over-hanging terracotta tiling, however.

This was the inspiration for this structure design (CivCity:Rome);

maybe if you could just darken the roof a little? like in the picture.

I mean I don't think it is a problem really, i think there is just that sort of stereotypical perception that that is the kind of house you see in the desert more.

Especially as this is only one type of house among many

Yeah, it should look more fitting once I get my new artstyle revamped over my ground tiles.

When i looked at it I don't really see a problem. I don't think that eastern peoples were the only ones to use that Stucco type stuff to cover their walls.

Though it does seem a little plain. Maybe try adding a brick like design at the top or bottom? Similar to this for example. Travelblog.org

But as I said it seems fine to me.

Description

This is the first tiling house I've made, early version.

"Expandable" housing means that players will be able to extend their house by building on to it at a later date.
