A huge open-world game where you have the freedom to play how you want - but your choices have consequences. You've survived the zombie apocalypse by living in a bunker for a year and now it's time to venture out. Scavenge for supplies, find other survivors, trade or fight with them, form relationships and build a community. Go on quests, face moral dilemmas, and uncover dark, terrible secrets!
This patch fixes a few more bugs that people have reported, adds health bars to buildings, makes the insulin situation a bit easier (again) and tried to streamline/remove confusion from a couple of the early tutorial quests (based on some "Let's Play" videos I watched).

The second patch has made it through the XBox Live Indie Games approval process. Here are the main changes:
Roll on the third patch! I already know of a few more things I'll need to fix. Top of the list I'm going to get rid of the vicious cycle of hyperglycemia (where Alice gets hungry when her blood sugar gets high, resulting in her eating more and making it even higher). Hopefully after the third patch it'll be the end of the panicky post-release patching phase and I can start thinking more long-term.
For the benefit of those that haven't played the game yet, here are some more screenshots:
What is this, I don't even...?
Survivalist is a large open-world game where you build a community of survivors after the zombie apocalypse. Scavenge for food, talk to people, do quests, trade, go to war, make choices and live with the consequences. It's currently available on XBox 360 through the Indie Games channel.
In his review, Tim Hurley at thexblig.com described it as "one of the most impressive XBLIGs ever produced" and said "Survivalist is an intense experience, one of the most content-packed, feature-rich games on the indie channel. It is not to be missed."
