String Theory is a first-person puzzle game about gathering brightly colored objects by touching them with things attached to the fishing pole. As more objects are collected, more objects light up. Utilize this ability to reach to the red gate!

Description

Download the zip file for your platform, and unzip the file. Go into the directory, "String Theory". There will be a binary executable called "String Theory", whose permissions aren't set to executable. If you use GNOME/Cinnamon (I believe KDE supports this as well), open the "String Theory" file properties, and check the "run as executable" checkbox. Otherwise, open the terminal from this directory, and run the "chmod +x String\ Theory" command. After that, run "String Theory" as normal. Controls (Mouse & Keyboard): WASD or arrow keys to move. Move the mouse to rotate the camera. Space to jump. Move the "lure" on the fishing pole into brightly colored objects to collect them. Press the left mouse button to fire away the last collected object. Esc to pause the game.
