My voice isn't so clear, but this video shows development progress so far.
Steampunk Attack features a retro science fiction world with unique towers and enemy units, both funny and unpredictable. Humor and creative insanity lie at the core of the game. We want it to have all the crazy and unpredictable features that will merge perfectly with the gameplay and game balance. Steampunk Attack will have XP leveling system and skill upgrades. Your progress will be rewarded with power up items and new tower abilities. This will give you a chance to try out your own unique style and tactics. We want to provide players with awesome experience in multiplayer skirmish mode, where one will test their might against other players in RPG/RTS style gameplay with a tower defense twist.The game is in prototype stage, every suggestion and idea is very welcome. We definitely want to try out every crazy idea in game, and come up with fun and enjoyable experience.
Under the sand wasteland there is a metallic surface. As u can see the cactuses are made of metal too. I tried to go for a more of a twisted post-apocalyptic feel.
We already started to work a new trap system and we are coming up with a very interesting idea on how to craft a bunch of crazy stuff using basic elemental items. My next post will probably be about traps and trap crafting systems.
In my blog I mentioned that in Jump or Fall studio we have a programmer, but I’m a bit confused with him. He writes something in this computer for the entire day using some program similar to MS notepad but with various colored characters. Is that normal?
