Starfare is a real time strategy game with a Space/Sci-Fi scenario. The game is about capturing Asteroids and holding them to gain resources and bring down the enemies. The tricky thing is that the Asteroids may not always be static. There are 12 missions with a (hopefully) exciting background story as well as the possibility to create custom games. A nasty AI will accompany or fight against you. You can play as one of four factions which can be picked by yourself in a custom game, or which is predefined in a campaign. All of them have different properties and advantages. A maximum of 64 players allows you to witness gigantic battles with like 24 different units.

We have compiled some random gameplay scenes that show how the game will look like.

So this is what the game will look like. The video mainly shows battle scenes as they are omnipresent in an advanced match. However, it's not just about rolling over enemy bases but keeping and capturing asteroids. Have a look and enjoy:

Since there are some game resources still missing, the game has not yet been released. Code, models, textures and sounds are finished anyway. We are planning to publish the game this month but there is no specific date.

1st comment! and nice graphics, but a few ships COULD be better, as one of them (dunno the name) loks like a bunch of RAM chips with wings of a Valkyrie (from StarCraft Brood War)

Thanks for your feedback! :)
The ships look a bit ****** due to the low video quality but the graphics are final. I hope you'll like them better in the release.
Nice metaphor by the way ;)
