Capturing the drama and epic conflict of Star Wars, Battlefront II brings the fight online. Attention to detail and scale make this game a joy to behold, with 16 incredible new battlefronts such as Utapau, Mustafar and the space above Coruscant, as well as the Death Star interior and Tantive IV, Princess Leia's blockade runner seen at the beginning of the original Star Wars.
Definitely the best Star Wars game in terms of delivering the atmosphere known from movies, it allows you to take part in large battles set in the SW universe, within both the Clone Wars and Rebelion eras. You can chose from different classes such as soldiers and engineers, and every faction has its own unique unit. You can also play as powerful heroes, characters known from movies like Han Solo or Darth Vader himself! Maps are huge and the main goal on each one of them is to take as many command posts as possible and then maintain them for as long as possible, or simply to destroy all of the enemy forces. Other game modes consist of: Capture the flag, Double Capture the flag, heroes assault in which instead of classes we get to chose on of the heroes, campaing, in which we discover story of the Fall of the Republic from point of view of an average clone trooper and Gallactic Conquest, a simple RTS/FPS mix in which we, well, conquer the entire galaxy.
But the best part of the game, imo, are the space battles, where we get to fly around spaceships and destroy other spaceships! It's so awesome! :D
This game makes even Prequels look cool. And that means something.
