UnOfficial Patch v1.3 is now compatible with multiplayer patch by GOG. This installer is only for GOG or Steam game version. If you will install it on a retail copy, installer will extract unmodified version of the unofficial patch.

Neither of these posts clearly explains what is going on. Why should I update from vanilla GOG.com version? Need a clear, up-to-date list of essentially "This is what is new, improved or changed since v1.1".
Some mods, maps, and add-ons require 1.3 to function.
Also some 1.1 bugs and glitches have been fixed, no more than that.

Anyone know where I can find the multiplayer patch? It wont let me download it automatically on steam and they are taking a while to respond
It will download either upon opening the game or upon turning on steam depending on the update settings (Under Properties) for that game. After the update is complete, install this patch.
There are Conversion packs that include the unofficial patch in them but aren't necessarily the most recent patch. How do we make sure this most recent steam-compatible patch doesn't get overwritten?
So I just installed my older GOG 1.1 version of SWBF2. Next I installed this. When I start the game it still says 1.1 and asks me to log into a gamespy account. Now, how can I play it online again with the "new / Disney /Steam compatible" servers and mode?

hmmm this doesnt seem to be working for me i got the GOG.com version and used the installer as Admin but i get the console and all in the pause menu and it says verion 1.1 on the home menu but when i go online no servers shows up
is there suppose to be a ".bat" file included or is that just with the other version?
i only ask because i was running an older version of the game and couldn't update it to 1.1, but i remember having to do something with a .bat file (if i remember correctly, though i could be wrong).
Time for a stupid question, do I have to change anything before downloading this? Remove mods from my folder (they obviously aren't working yet, not until I get this)? Delete previous 1.3 stuff or will this replace it? Etc.?

I noticed a small change in this version compared to r129: custom map name colors when selecting maps are not shown. It's a small thing, but I would appreciate it if this could be fixed. Thanks for your work Spiret!
How do I remove the +123 Clone Wars, +123 Galactic Civil War, and KoTOR eras?
so i uninstalled the game because my last patch was the old 1.3 patch and i can't play multiplayer. after i reinstalled the game, the multiplayer works just fine. but after i install this and my mods the multiplayer doesn't work again. any idea why?

Is there a way to have a manual version of this patch? I ask as Battlefront 2 is a major game advertised for Steamplay compatibility. I am unable to run the exe file under Linux.

Just checked it, and it is working perfectly.
Keeps crashing anytime I join a multiplayer game, as soon as I get in and am able to select which side I want to be on it crashes. Any idea as to why? I have a good handful of mods installed, are there any that aren't compatible with this mod?
