1. Patch to the latest version
After you have installed the game, you should install the patch 1.2 and 1.3. This allows you to play in widescreen and for Windows 10 you also need the DirectDraw wrapper. I also recommand that you check if your Legacy Components are active. You can find it by pressing Start and typing "Turn Windows features on or off"

2. How to play online
There are no official MasterServer left, so you need to use a vpn client like Gameranger or RadminVPN.
The multiplayer of Armada is very delicate. Not only do you need the exact same version of the game, but a good portion of luck. Prepare for desync and other problems, but it's still worth it to play from time to time.
3. Suggestion before installing mods
All mods will be installed directly in the game folder and will overwrite a lot. So, you can't uninstall only the mod, you will have to reinstall the entire game. For that reason I would recommand making a copy of the game folder and install in it the mod.
