You know that an engine looks good when things look amazing even with unfinished assets.

I love what you're doing, this is a great universe to breath new life into. I wonder weather or not it will be something similar to a free-roam city, or highly polished sections similar to the way Telltale games does it.

Snatcher isn't GTA but you can travel between "Districts" in a non-linear way mostly...
Each "District" is a map and most maps are a few city blocks in size for you to explore ;)

I think it would be great if you could connect at least some of the districts to make it a bit bigger, since there are cars, flying vehicles and all that, it would be much better in general. (Traveling between locations with a flying car is half the fun after all) Also, while they already look great, (even without textures and all that, which is really impressive) your roads and streets generally look too flat, even for a futuristic setting, if you could add curves to some places it would look much realistic. Similar to this picture:
Unigine.com

(Thats a real road converted to 3D by the way)

I'd love to make ALL of Neo Kobe a full GTA-like "Open World"...
Sadly that is NOT the goal, or the plan here for many logistical, and technological reasons.

Oh well, as long as the game plays as good as the original, that shouldn't be a problem. :)

Description

This is the "old" low poly "Platos Cavern" area.
Even without textures the old work looks better in the Crysis 2 SDK!
