Shipshot is a frenetic twin-stick shooter inspired by games like Geometry Wars, Super Stardust and Resogun.I've been making this game for 3 months now and what I've been doing is perfecting the gameplay so we have great movement and shooting feel like the games I mentioned before. Right now, I'm quite happy with the gameplay, it's very tight and precise. This game is set for release in 2015 and I'm hopping to bring it to as many consoles as possible (specially on VITA because I want to play it on there :b)

How it started?
Although I'm only 18, I've been making games since I was 16. I love shmups (specially this arena-based shmups), I know exactly what make them awesome and I feel sad that this industry doesn't make many high quality games of this genre. So I figured, why not give it a shot?

The Game

So, the game will be structured in different stages or arenas (with a boss at the end) where you have to destroy all the waves of enemies in the less time possible (and compare this times people on the leaderboards) and perfect this times. So, with this in mind there will be a lot of risk/reward situations , for instance: every enemy drops a little circle that gives you Upgrade Points; you can let this things fade away and deal with the other enemies as fast as you can, but you won't get your weapon upgraded which can be a big con.You can also slowdown time anytime you want, to help you in those tricky situations surrounded by lots of enemies. This would seem overpowered but actually the clock never slows down therefore you're losing time. All of this adds to a strategic side of shipshot, making it not only about positioning and precision, but also about planning every move.

Gameplay

This is the most important! The game has to make you feel that you're in control whether you're playing with mouse and keyboard or with a controller.(with keyboard and mouse: wasd or arrow keys to move; mouse to aim and shoot; space or right click to slowdown time)
