Salt War is a multiplayer, team-based game that pits two opposing anthropomorphic slug factions against once another. Gameplay will be a fusion of real-time strategy and a third-person shooter. The two teams must work together with their commanders to take over the map, and inevitably destroy the enemy headquarters, winning the game. Maps will lean towards being large scale, outdoor environments, which will allow for infantry combat combined with vehicle support. Each team must take over resource points located throughout the map in order for the commander to research upgrades, use abilities like calling in airstrikes, and build vehicles such as tanks to turn the tide of battle.
WIP of the helicopter model players will be able to fly as a transport, comes with two mounted machine guns.
Very nice version of the v-22! and its not only an helicopter but a VTOl, it can change wings position facing forwards, and fly like a normal plane.

BTW, very interesting project. I'll be tracking :)
watching at what youre trying to do i supose youre aiming for a near futuristic scifi setting that combines a little with the actual modern era, like if it was a next generation. Am i right?

Yeah you actually hit the nail on the head as far as the design goes. It was originally based a lot more on the v-22 osprey but then I got some feedback from my old professors and decided to spice it up a bit.
The original design thought was basing the weaponry off of contemporary weapons to get some ideas going, but then changing them up into their own exaggerated design.
Some more feedback I had received was to really have some more fun with the design and reinforce the salt weapon concept, so I'll be having some more fun integrating shapes like cylindrical salt-shakers and the like to give it more of its own feel.
Well, If you have fun with that then everything is alright :) I supose you have seen my private message. If not, I repeat: Great Job!
