Another one from one of the most recognizable and popular Tycoon series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 greatly continues the gameplay of the first and the second game. This time, though, you are in full 3D! This means a completely new style of builiding rollercoaster parks, plus many new features, such as ability to check your rides as a passenger (Coaster Cam™). You are also able to create custom fireworks and other pyrotechnic wonders, use custom mp3's as background music for rides, and choose from 5 different park themes.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 recieved very high reviews from gaming press, including Adrenaline Vault, IGN and Yahoo! Games. A great continuation of series, plus there are many custom, modded parks to choose from.

The one game series, I have to agree, that needs a sequel. I think EA should buy the franchise for they own The Sims and they do seem similar, but the only downside to that EA would make tons of DLC for outrageous prices. But I would take that chance.

How would EA touch this game if they are possibly going to only make a sequel if they get the rights to the game? And DLC may actually help the game a bit, for the 3rd game is missing a whole ton of great rides from the 1st and 2nd (And real life rides), such as the customizable maze. And it's better if the game get's a sequel then have the game stay abandoned forever. And I really don't think the mods are worth downloading... I wish we had a RCT Mod master or something...

Have you seen what EA has been doing lately?

I don' want no modding and a half finished game that requires origin and does not support player content or add ons.

Some one will make another RCT but why do you want EA? O_o

I normally do not pay attention to EA (The only games that they have made that I have played in a while is Mass Effect, and I have watched gameplay of Sims 3). If EA would not allow custom content, such as modding, on the game, I would definitely take back the fact that EA should make it. I thought that since Sims 3 looks very similar to RCT3, that they would be a good choice for new owners of the franchise. But who would be the best to build onto this series?

Dido! I was hoping to find a mod that added fairway games. I just realized that these games were never put in the game.

Hm don't know... for me the game got old very, very quickly. After the first 3 missions you understand what's needed to win the game, and then I found it only time absorbing. Tried to make my own missions, but same story. The gameplay mechanics are so incredibly static. Looks better than all previous RollerCoaster titles (which I really loved), but to me the gameplay of this one is really sad. :)
