The latest update for Robocraft bringing with it the new Single Player mode and the Community Robot Factory, which allows players to share their robots with the world or rent/buy other players' robots to try for themselves!

CONTENT

The Community Robot Factory (CRF) is now available to all players

  • It can be accessed via the green button at the top-right of the mothership interface
  • The CRF allows players to upload their robots to share them with the community
  • You can rent another player’s robot for 7 days at the cost of RP
  • You can’t rent a robot that uses parts you haven’t unlocked
  • You can buy another player’s robot permanently, along with all the parts it used, for GC
  • You can’t buy a robot that uses parts you haven’t unlocked
  • When a robot you uploaded is rented or bought, you get a share of the RP or GC
  • After using a rented/bought robot in battle, you can rate it for combat effectiveness and style
  • Players can report an offensive robot
  • Sorting system lets you find the exact robot you want

Single Player Mode is now available to all players

  • It can be accessed via the Fight menu
  • Enemy robots pulled directly from the CRF
  • Enemy robots are selected based on your RR Vs theirs
  • RP is earned for each robot you kill

BALANCE

  • CRF rental costs have been changed since the public testing period, new costs can be found here
  • SMG damage no longer drops off over range, base damage remains unchanged – Note that the buff from this damage is only applied to shots fired at enemies over very long distances. This change will not improve SMG damage output in typical low-mid range brawls, and the damage increase is overall very low as DPS over long distances is low due to tap-firing and inaccuracy.

BUGS

  • Fixed a bug causing the incorrect robot name to appear when viewing a robot in the CRF
  • Fixed an issue which allowed players to rent (and rate) their own robot in the CRF
  • Fixed a bug causing the first win 2x bonus not to apply to rented robots
  • Fixed an issue causing overclocking adjustment to be disabled in test mode
  • Fixed a number of UI/text scaling issues

OTHER

  • To improve queue times at lower RRs, The Pit and Team Deathmatch will be limited to max RR only. A lot more info on the reasoning behind this change can be found here.
