Episode 1 of Adventure to Abaddon: Renascence follows its young and troubled protagonist, Philip Theodore Andersen, after his soul is taken to Abaddon by a strange malevolent force. He treks through the baron wastelands of limbo until he meets an ancient elder who cuts him a deal; he'll be granted revival under the condition that he completes a number of objectives for him first, involving going through each layer of Abaddon to fight his demonic opponents and retrieve scattered relics. From there, he travels to several layers of Abaddon, The Layer of Storms, The Layer of Frost, and The Layer of Aurum, all while defeating the tyrants governing each layer.

There is also some hidden lore you can piece together along the way...
