Dinosaurs have been unleashed on an old military controlled island due to an experiment gone awry. A team of mercenaries have been dispatched to contain the threat.
Primal Carnage is a multiplayer first person shooter where players must work as a team to complete game mode dependent objectives. In Primal Carnage, you can play as one of two factions: dinosaurs or humans. Both are filled with special unique classes and abilities that complement and contrast each other.

Looking great, nice lighting and depth of field effect. In what way will depth of field be used in the gameplay?

Humans play in first person mode, dinosaurs play in third person.

But I mean the depth of field effect (aka blurry background), how will that be used in the game? :)

When in first person view, it has a realistic effect for distance or if your running as a raptor for example. We plan on using many post-effects from Motion blur, hdr, depth of field, etc.

hmmm I don't know, it just seems to blurry for the distance, I can never really understand DOF it seems like the character suffers from farsightedness, I mean I have astigmatism and can see far off objects less blurry, but maybe it will seem better when running, maybe when your standing still the blur could lessen as you eyes have time to adjust to the distance.

i think the background blur effect might be abit overdone.. if we were in this situation, the adrenaline rush should actually help with visual focus.

but in any case, i think i just jizzed in my pants. Good work!
