I just bought and installed Postal 2 (wishing i tried the demo first now) but when i launch either Share the Pain or Apocalypse Weekend i get a weird glitch, its hard to explain and i can't take a screenshot because the whole computer freezes but after I click 'launch' in Desura I see a red background with spinning books and gears and other objects, instead of the main menu, then it crashes. I'm currently running Ubuntu 11.10.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks for reporting it, I'm going to be installing Ubuntu (or maybe Mint) myself in the next few days , I'll see if I get the same problem.

I'm getting something similar on Ubuntu 12.0.4. I'll go post a thread about it I suppose.
