Phoenix USC is a fast action space combat game inspired by SubSpace (www.subspace.co). Phoenix USC is an MMO that will handle hundreds of players per server and will come complete with it's own map/world editor. Phoenix USC is currently in the beta stage of development. If you like massively multiplayer fast action addictive top down shooting games, then this is the game for you. This project will begin open beta testing soon so check us out. :)

This is a video showing the new animated weapons effect for ships. It uses animated images that work really well with awesome detail. Here I am battling with 200 bots and each class of ship has its own weapons image and color. Phoenix is designed so that each ship can have several styles of weapons with different physics qualities such as speed, friction, bounce, gravity and more.
Next up I will begin to add in different styles/classes of weapons such as lasers, bombs and energy weapons which can be assigned to the bots or other players making ship weapons configurations possible.
Still looking to have my first preview demo out at the end of the year.
