Report RSS Week 3 - First peak

A quick peak at the first progress in the production of Terminus Est.

Here is a quick look of what I have managed to produce in the first 3 weeks.
Graphically there's nothing really impressive to show off yet and there probably won't be for a while as I'll be focusing on getting basic structures working to begin with.
I will be making video logs in the near future but for now here's a few screenshots :

This is taken from an online match, the characters and weapon are just temporary meshes.

15 minute sketch models of each faction, still a long way to go.

What's working so far :

  • Server-Client architecture
  • Connecting and Disconnecting to matches
  • Choose between 3 factions
  • Inventory, weapons and projectile logic
  • Damage and death
  • FPS controls
  • Main menu with resolution options

I realise that so far I haven't described much about what the game is actually about, I will try my best to update the description in the near future. I'm working alone and I'm trying to juggle every aspect of the game which is challenging to say the least. Already as it is now, I am very excited about the project and I hope that as I show more and more that you will be excited too!
